ASTM A106 grade B (ASME SA106) welded carbon steel pipes are used in power plants, boilers, petrochemical plants, oil and gas refineries, and vessels where pipelines must transport liquids and gases that show high pressure and temperature. At American Piping Products, we distribute pipes that meet the latest chemical standards from ASME.
ASTM A106 welded carbon steel pipe (also known as ASME SA106 Iron Pipe) includes nominal carbon steel seamless wall pipes for high temperature service. Suitable for bending, scratching and similar forming operations.
Process of Steel being killed, with a primary smelting process in the form of an open fireplace, basic oxygen, or electric furnace, which may be combined with degassing steel castings or purification which is separated in the ingot or strand cast allowed. Pipes that have been finished hot do not need to be heated with heat. Cold drawn pipes must be heated after the last cold draw pass.
